In this tutorial we will reach you how to do a beginner friendly braid and bun using clip-ins on short natural hair.
The hair she used in this tutorial is BetterLength 14″ Afro Kinky Curly clip ins.
Step One
Start off with stretch hair, did the banding method.
Step Two
Take your rat tail comb, part a square at the front of your hair, and try to keep your parts really straight.
After that take your smaller rat tail comb and go to park like a small to medium sized section as you can see here, and then just clip the rest of your hair away so that it wouldn’t be in the way.
Step Three
Go ahead and do braids, if you don’t know how to braid you can do a flat twist as well.
Just in a total of six braids, but you can do however many you would like to do.
Step Four
Put your hair into a ponytail.
Step Five
Go ahead and put on your scarf, wrap it around your head and then go ahead and put on your other scarf.
Step Six
It’s the next day, take off your scarf.
Apply a little gel to the front of the braids.
Spray this bushing to the back of your hair.
Step Seven
Just clip it in around the ponytail.
Put the second and third clip ins.
Now that the clip ins are all applied, go to make your bun into doughnut, use some open bobby pins to pin it into place and get it to how you want it to look.
Step Eight
Apply some hair jewels into your bun, just to give it a little bit more spice.
This is the finished look
