If you haven’t been under a rock, you know that a half-up half-down hairstyle is possibly the most efficient way to get a gorgeous look.
I think the half-up, half-down hairstyle is one of the most underrated hairstyles out there, mainly because it’s the one hairstyle where you can really have it all.
This tutorial show you how to create a half up and half down hairstyle with clip ins.
The hair used in this tutorial is BetterLength 16″ Light Yaki clip ins.
Step One
Use curling wand to do some curls for the clip ins.
Do the same thing on your own hair.
Step Two
Take a small section in the back of your hair.
Step Three
Take a two clips clip-ins and lock that in place on both sides of your hair.
Quickly run your fingers through it just to blend together.
Take a three clip clip-ins and repeat the process.
Step Four
Lay down some more hair to make another section, and then use the four clips clip-ins.
Clip in the two middle sections, clip in the right and the left side.
Step Five
Blend the rest of the hair, add more clip ins in the front.
Step Six
Part your hair once more, try to section off where I left the extra hair in the back portion for the hair down part.
Gather your hair into the ponytail section and lay your edges.
Step Seven
Use a hair brush to smooth your hair and then secure the ponytail using super loose.
And this is the finished look
